I have fallen in love with a wedding that I recently saw on the wonderful Style Me Pretty blog. I have never seen such gorgeous flower arangements and I adore how they were styled with the peaches and antique vases. And have you ever seen such a beautiful bride?

Trace shapes onto black construction paper, cut out and mount w/looped masking tape.

Jack-o'-lantern soup form kraftfoods "food and family" magazine:

Use a cookie cutter to create a little pumpkin face out of a slice of cheese to top off a nice bowl of soup.

I must be needing something sweet because this is all I can think about this morning... donuts and mini muffins. Don't these look yummy? Fall Color

Last night before we sat down to a quick pasta dinner, I took a picture of my table. It's nothing fancy at all... just kinda' fun and colorful for the kids. Don't you just love the nice Halloween-esque rat on the table? Anyway... the little detail that I'm proud of is the sprinkled little homemade acorns on the table. The acorn caps are real and I just glued some colorful felted balls to each one. They are just fun and add a little unexpected whimsy.

Annie's Latest Stuff

Here are a few of my daughter's latest designs from her jewelry and accessories line called annie b boutique. Earrings are a new category for her and she's expanded her line of necklaces 'taffies' and ponytail holders 'pony-o's'. Here is a pic of Annie and Claire modeling the new BFF design, which was inspired by Claire's idea to have coordinating necklaces for you and your best friend.

Apple of My Eye!

I'm already starting to get in the holiday gift-giving mindset and I saw this adorable pincushion on Poppytalk Handmade by Craftapalooza. It sells for $20.00 and I think it makes a terrific little gift. I'm sure that my 11 year old will love taking an apple to the teacher!

Peelin' like a Monkey!

I found this "How to peel a banana like a monkey" video via A Cup of Jo and although it is a little random, I found it to be kinda interesting. I had always heard that peeling a banana upside down eliminates the little stringy pieces from sticking to the banana, but the pinch and peel technique is all new to me. So go watch the video and when you're making banana pancakes this weekend, you'll be a pro in the peeling department!

Beauty Shots

Most beautiful shots that you find in magazines are very deceiving. They look so naturally perfect, when the truth is that each of these beautiful photos is perfectly lit and styled. So much thought goes into each situation...it must be an amazing amount of time, skill and creative talent. Randi Brookman Harris is an amazing prop stylist and creative director. She is one of these talented people that can really make a beautiful photograph happen. I think that her work is lovely...here are a few of my favorite RBH shots.

Fun Favor Idea

Here is a colorful little Jelly Belly cupcake tower that I made for my daughter's class when it was time to celebrate her birthday. You simply fill sandwich baggies with Jelly Bellys and use a twistie to secure. Cut down a few paper cups to look like cupcake liners (I got the paper cups from Party City and used rick-rack scissors to make the cut.) Put the jelly belly bags in the cup twistie side down and top with a cherry pom-pom for the finishing touch! Everyone gets their own little cupcake. What could be cuter?!

A Great Idea

These flowers are suspended from a wire and are so sweet and delicate. I can just imagine them in Fall colors with a few mums, marigolds, snapdragons and bittersweet. Thank you, Sweet Paul for such a clever idea!

'Lil Sweetie

I've had sweet treats on the brain lately. This card from our "Let's Party" album is making me dream big...And I must be craving something sweet 'cuz these whoopie pies, brownies and crispery treats are callin' my name...don't they all look so good?

Remember the rice crispy treats you loved as a kid? I’ll do you one better. I just heard about this company The Crispery and I’m pretty sure the mouth watering photos above speak for themselves. Their creations include so many versions of the classic kid friendly treat, I have stop and wonder ‘why didn’t I think of this years ago’?! I love that they offer sample boxes in pretty packaging too... such a great birthday gift or favor idea!
