Nele Azevedo's Ice Figurines
Some of you may have seen images of this amazing art installation done by Brazilian artist Nele Azevedo who sculpted one thousand tiny ice figurines and placed them on the sun-warmed cement steps of the concert hall in Berlin's Gendarmenmarkt Square in late 2009.
The figurines, which began melting within half an hour, were meant to bring awareness to the World Wildlife Fund's warnings on Climate Change.

Tweet Stuff
I just signed up for Twitter and I thought I'd celebrate by blogging about these gorgeous little handmade birdhouses on a website I ran across from New York based artist/designer Tamar Mogendorff. Are they not adorable? They are so cute all collaged together and certainly equally wonderful hung as a single special bird house.
